moving to a new location, the former site of Vitellos Bakery in downtown Skokie
Skokie, Illinois...Sweety Pies Bakery, Cakery and Cafe is a family-owned and operated business specializing in fresh,
homemade and old-fashioned cakes, pastries and desserts.

The Kruger Family, Arden and Bruce and their son and daughter, Chad and Dana,
offer a cafe setting that also serves breakfast and lunch offerings with Intelligentsia coffee and
other barista made drinks and a wide variety of teas.

Located in the heart of downtown Skokie at 8042 Lincoln Ave., Sweety Pies offers
products baked fresh daily including pies, cookies, brownies, scones, muffins, and cupcakes.
Also featured are galettes, quick breads, various bars, and many other dessert favorites.
Breakfast and lunch item favorites include bagels, omlettes, french toast, soups, quiche, and fresh sandwiches.

The mission of Sweety Pies is to provide tasty treats that are made from scratch using

Arden and Dana Kruger, co-owners, are both experienced bakers.
Arden has refined both family and her own recipes. Dana is a graduate of the French Pastry School of Chicago.
Working together the two will design and create custom cakes built to exact specifications for
weddings, birthdays, family celebrations and other special occasions.
Dana will work with you to make your cake a memorable one that looks great and tastes great too!
